I just noticed this last week-- when i roll over in bed or stretch or cough or sneeze, really anything that pulls on my low low abdomen, on the sides i get a really strong cramping feeling. it hurts pretty bad, but it doesn't last very long.
could this just be a side effect from my uterus growing or is it a concern i should take to the dr? i have my regular appt next week with the ob so i'll ask then, but i'm a little worried about it.

If it's like a really quick pulling in your groin area, that's very normal. I got that alot at the beginning and my doctor told me it's just from the stretching, and that's also what my book says. I don't get them anymore, but now I get braxton-hicks contractions like crazy! When you're pregnant, there is always going to be some kind of goofy pain to deal with. But definitely describe the pain to your doctor and see what he/she says, because I may be misunderstanding what kind of pain you are having. Good luck!

That sounds like round ligament pain. Just your uterus growming a stretching your muscles down there. Move slowly when you turn, like reaching for your seatbelt for instance, or turning over in bed.
