Hmm, so will the sun swallow the thee planets or will they evaporate before it gets them?

No, its not like the sun is hungry and expands to find food.
The sun will expand gradually over a few centuries, giving Mercury and Venus time to heat, boil, and evaporate and become part of the solar atmosphere.

Mass of Sun ~ 2x10^30 kg.
Mass of Venus ~ 5x10^24 kg
The Sun would hardly notice.

The thermal expansion of the sun would only be slowed by the addition of MASSIVE quantities of Hydrogen to the core of the sun.
