Some guys talk longer on the phone than some gals do! I should know, my first room-mate in college would do just that with his girlfriend and she only lived two blocks down the street even! I hated going over to the neighbors house to order a pizza.

I'm straight, and hate talking on the phone, so I just do what I have to and get off.
Unless it's a not lady on the other end, talking dirty sex talk to me, and then I stay on, till I get off.
But staying on the phone a long time, doesn't prove that a guy is gay. Unless his partner on the other end, is a guy talking dirty sex to him.

You CAN'T fall in love online. What you can do online is find people who MIGHT be compatible with you. You have to meet them to see if there is chemistry. People lie (he has probably lied, too) esp. online because they don't anticipate meeting the other person. You get an email and can think about what to say. You don't see all the negatives in the person...you fill in the blanks about the person...you excuse their negative behaviors. I would move on.

No. My dad is very straight (married 28 years), and he will talk on the phone for an hour or more with relatives and business associates.

Of course not. It depends on who he's talking with and what they're saying and whether you can read his mind. Never assume anything.
