I went to the Doctor today for my first sono. This is my 4th pregnancy. I had a miscarriage last year. I was doing research online to see the results of your placenta being low in your uterus. I went through this with my 2nd child but it was at the end and it was safe for her to come out. Now that im only 7 weeks pregnant im very nervous. The sonographer told me to be careful but im a Nurses Aide...that job isnt easy! I was told by a few ppl that my Dr should have put me on bedrest for a little while but i needed some more input from other ppl that has been through this. Please help me!

I wouldn't play around with sonographers or Yahoo opinions. I'd ask my doctor directly. I mean, even if someone here...KNEW about these things, they don't know your individual case. You need the advise of someone who can look at your records and at your sonagrams, and tell you the best way to go about this. Good luck!

I have had the same problem. I think what you are referring to is placenta previa. I had it with my first child. He was born naturally although the placenta did not move until late in the pregnancy. I was actually planning a c-section before we realized it had moved. Give your body some time to fix the problem before worrying. All you will be doing is adding stress on top of stress. As for your job take it easy as best you can. I also work in surgery so I know how you feel. It is hard to do this kind of work when you are pregnant. Only you know how you feel. If things don't feel right then don't do the tasks at hand. You have to take the time for yourself if you want this pregnancy to be successful. Don't stress out and waiting is about all you can do. Good luck!
