In law enforcement, there is no magic 8-Ball to shake and know for sure! So being thorough is the best that such an agency would have to offer in the hopes of determining who will wear that badge of protection and how well they will uphold that privaledge.

second interviews are great, they mean someone has spotted you and wants to know more about you. Sort of like meeting a guy and him being impressed or turned on by you so naturally he would want to know more about you.

Take it easy sis! You got this.......

Sometimes people do a second interview to see if your second time answers match the first ones. If they catch you in some kind of lie, they probably won't want to hire you. Other times it's just customary to do 2 interviews especially with an important job such as law enforcement. I don't think you're in trouble, their just being thorough. Good luck with the job.

A second interview is a GOOD sign, not a bad one. They want to learn more about you than the time allotted for the first one allowed them.

The only possible "downside" to a second interview is that it may mean they have two 'ideal' candidates for just one position, so the second interview is your chance to show how much better-suited you are than anybody else.

Be confident in yourself!

Good luck!

Can't believe you are asking this question. Getting a second interview is a good thing. Means they are interested in you. Having a third interview is the best.

You obviously don't understand the interviewing process. When you are called back, that means you are one of the final candidates and they want the second interview to decided between you and the other candidate(s).

So, this is a good thing. It is also standard procedure these days. Good luck!

For desperate, read keen. It can be a good idea to write to your interviewer thanking them for their time and saying that you are keen to work with them now that you know even more about the job. The other thing to say is that employers normally only take up references if they intend to make a job offer. Otherwise unsuccessful applicants might have problems where the employer they are staying with gets reference requests. It sounds as though you might be in with a chance, but you will only really know once they tell you. Good Luck!

Having another interview is a GOOD thing. It means you made the cut to round two. Proceed with optimism.

Previously worked for a police commissioner, this is a good thing. They will be looking at how you will fit in with the current team, if you are a good person, how you handle yourself in communicating with others, and your attitude about the job.

Be yourself. Good luck.
