i have a flute and its been sitting in my closet since forever and i want to use the money to buy a guitar so can i go to an instrument store like H&H music???

How about donating it to a local school instead? Someone who cannot afford it will really appreciate it and you'll feel good knowing you gave someone an opportinity to use an instrument they otherwise would not have been able to buy.

Go to Craigslist.com and post it to the classifieds. It's just like ebay only free..
