This is just so typical of ill-conceived "charity" plans. The figures you cite show it costs $3,000 a day per person to stay there.

You could fly each of these kids to Bora Bora, let them stay at the Four Seasons Hotel, go scuba diving every day, buy them all new clothes, take them on exotic excursions, etc.

It's like a lot of these "charity" concerts that end up getting a tiny percentage of the gross revenue.

It is a huge ranch, insurance, medical staff on standby must be incredible expensive. All inclusive.

$3000 a day will get you a luxury hotel suite too. $2000 will get you an exotic car rental.

What of it?

Staff salaries, running the ranch, electricity, et all. It's not cheap! especially if it is a large one. Whether it is 2.7 mil ..who knows.

They get pampered like all heck out there no doubt, and yes, they deserve it, they're gonna die in a few months.
