Or to put it another way, a minority of people think it is morally correct to NOT find a cure for people with horrible diseases, because it would require research using fertilized eggs that have no consciousness and no ability to suffer.

That seems to me like a very screwy moral system.

Unfortunately, this minority of people are causing unnecessary suffering in the world by blocking vital medical research from going forward!

No, I don't agree with them, but then, I work with sick people.
There are things worse than death & one of them is
suffering.
When one of these "moral" people come down with a
debilitating, crippling illness, unfortunately, that's when
they'll get it.
I recommend that anyone against stem cell research,
should pay a visit to Inglis House in Philadelphia, home
for the incurables.
Believe me, there is no comparing quantity of life to
quality of life.

Sure looks like it. They'll rally around a pregnant woman in front of the Cameras- & harrass her NOT to have an abortion, but when the baby is BORN & the woman can't take care of it- they're NOWHERE to be found. That's the GOP for you. Quick with the mouths- short with the money.

I think a more appropriate question would change GOP to Bush. Not all republicans are anti stem cell research.

Stem cell research is hardly vital, we've been living for many tens of thousands of years without it.

I think youre skewing the information a little. The unborn dont have more rights than live people. Its just that they shouldnt be denied rights or punished for the actions of their parents.

I believe they both have equal rights. One should not
kill the other in order to exist. To do so is equivalent
to allowing a form of vampiring.

I'm not sure I agree with your assertion. You are obviously a pro-abortion Liberal. Do you think people should commit partial birth abortion? I bet protecting it is part of your platform! If you have any sense of decency at all, PLEASE tell me I'm wrong. P.S. If you don't draw the line somewhere, scientists will produce "The Fly". Sometimes you should stop while you're ahead!

No.However you libs believe that animals have more rights than people.
In Cleveland a few years ago, dogs had a new 5 million dollar shelter, and the women's shelter had mold all over it.

What a silly childish liberal question. Grow up and learn to think clearly.
