Also, I thought of another thing:
I think we should privatize Social Security, and I think the Welfare program needs to be fixed.
Also, I dislike the whole graduated income tax thing. It should be either flat, or we should abolish it and raise sales tax.

You are in current political terms a conservative. However, if we were about 200 years ago you would be a Libertarian or what I call a Foundationalist-which means you subscribe to what the founding Fathers thought was the way American should be governed.

I see why you could be anti discrimination laws because it does give minorities an unfair advantage now instead of when they were developed back when they needed those to have an equal. For the most part your conservative. Which means your not an idiot. I dont know about the anti gay rights. If you mean dont let em get married I agree. Getting married is a religous ceremony and the religon doesnt alow gay marrages so its really up 2 them. They can get their civil unions that are pretty much they same thing. They just want something to whine about. You know if it was any other religon the dems would be throwing a fit over how we are trying to impose our beleifs of whats right on their religon

After reading some of your other posts, I would say you are an exceptionally level-headed kid who is headed in the right direction with your life. Your conservative political views tell me that you have studied and have an understanding of what is good for America and what is not. If you go to public school, you probably have some disagreements with your teachers about politics and social issues, which in todays education system, is a good thing. When you get a little older choose your college carefully, although you sound like you would do that anyway. Those who disagree with your political viewpoint will try to wear you down, but sticking to your principles will result in people respecting you.

You are middle of the road. You take the good parts of each party and believe in it. Then you reject the crap they believe in. Good Job....I believe the same thing but the tax. I don't believe we should pay income tax and our so called government does not need to know what it's citizens make in a paycheck. Citizens need to get back to the time when we actually owned what we pay for. As long as we the people are taxed on something yearly we truly don't own it.

In an effort to help you figure that out for yourself, here is the brief synopsis on what Libertarians believe:
"We, the members of the Libertarian Party, challenge the cult of the omnipotent state and defend the rights of the individual. We hold that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose.
Governments throughout history have regularly operated on the opposite principle, that the State has the right to dispose of the lives of individuals and the fruits of their labor. Even within the United States, all political parties other than our own grant to government the right to regulate the lives of individuals and seize the fruits of their labor without their consent.
We, on the contrary, deny the right of any government to do these things, and hold that where governments exist, they must not violate the rights of any individual: namely
(1) the right to life- accordingly we support the prohibition of the initiation of physical force against others;
(2) the right to liberty of speech and action- accordingly we oppose all attempts by government to abridge the freedom of speech and press, as well as government censorship in any form, and
(3) the right to property- accordingly we oppose all government interference with private property, such as confiscation, nationalization, and eminent domain, and support the prohibition of robbery, trespass, fraud, and misrepresentation.
Since governments, when instituted, must not violate individual rights, we oppose all interference by government in the areas of voluntary and contractual relations among individuals. People should not be forced to sacrifice their lives and property for the benefit of others. They should be left free by government to deal with one another as free traders, and the resultant economic system, the only one compatible with the protection of individual rights, is the free market."

Conservative
Also I would like to add
A person who knows what they believe and is not afraid of stating so publicly.
You accomplished this without denigrating the other side or people who may hold different views. Commendable.
Even though people from the other side chose to denigrate you with their answers. Says a lot.

I call that straight conservative, socially and economically. The Libertarians are for less governmental control all-around, which would preclude banning abortion and gay marriage.
