What privileges and legal rights does a sixteen year old have?

1. Drive (most states you need another licensed adult in the vehicle at all times, if you don't i think you'll need 4 other kids in the car with you.)

2. Date any age (in some states the age of consent is 16, most 17 and some 18).

The privilege to attend school. Legal rights, to have shelter, food, and be clothed.

Well, I think you should tell us the state you live in as MANY places are very different.

As for tanning, go in the back yard and do it.

A teenager does not have legal rights until they are 18.

the only thing I know you can legally do at 16 is quit school, but i think you still have to have your parent's consent to do that. and quitting school is dumb anyway.

other than that, I think you have no legal rights of your own till 18.

they are allowed to drive by themselves and stay out longer and get a job.

in UK they can:
1) Smoke (buy cigarettes)
2) have sex
3) leave school
4) buy a lottery ticket
