They think it is wrong only when a Democrat does it. I'm pretty sure Denny Hastert took Colombian foreign policy all to himself. Or, how about Oliver North's involvement in Iran Contra?

It's simply spinning a story to make people think that the Democrats are irrisponsible and that Republicans are the only ones who should be elected. Even though Speaker Pelosi did nothing wrong and was in fact doing what the American People want, which is to have direct talks with Syria instead of following Bush's strategy of isolating the country. Isolation will only makes them more willing to work with Anti-American groups, and further destabalize the region. If we want the Middle East to be peaceful we need to talk with all the Countries that are in the Middle East. So President Bush wants to make it look like what Nancy Pelosi did was irresponsible and that she doesn't deserve to be Speaker of the House so that they can gain an edge come election time.

Because those republicans were mostly nobody's while Pelosi held an important and influential position.

Because the country in which Pelosi visited, and throughout the middle east has what some would call a misogynisted society. Women are not viewed in the same way as women are in the western world. Pelosi of course unlike those repub men is a woman and there are nuances regardin that that could backfire and harm relations.

Because the republicans that went were not trying to step in as the Israel-Syria go between diplomat like Pelosi did.

And finally, because those repubs that went didnt end up putting their foot in their mouth and getting rebuked by the Israeli Prime Minister like Pelosi did.

How interior the international all of us could examine that text fabric and have self assurance of one minute that the Speaker of the homestead or any member of Congress has the authority to habit foreign places coverage? they're constrained to creating rules. The republicans who went to Syria went there to reinforce US foreign policy, as projected by the elected president. They did so as loyal Americans. The Speaker went to Syria for partisan political reasons in order to intentionally disrupt that policy, hoping to embarrass the President. She is only interested in helping her party regain the presidency. She also misstated Israel's position with regard to the palestinians. The Speaker actually acted as a rogue representative of our country. Judging from her poor performance so far, she may face charges of treason before leaving office in disgrace. She will turn out to be a national embarrassment in the fashion of Bill Clinton, Janet Reno and Jocelyn Elders. Real Americans recognize her for what she is, just as they recognize her supporters. Americans in name only.

It is absolutely wrong for ANY member of Congress to make an official visit to another country UNLESS invited for some reason other than Diplomacy or ASKED by the President or the Secretary of State to go.
Having said that, Pelosi IS the Speaker of the House and the third in line to the Presidency, so her violating the US Constitution (Separation of Powers) is more heinous.
Clearly, her objective was to interfere with the Administration's job and please the Anti-Americans that support the Democrat Party.
She is scum.

Why are the Democrats making such a big deal about 7 US Attorneys being fired when Bill Clinton fired 93 in one day for their politics (1993)?
The answer is simple. The fight over power not right or wrong.

They are desparate. Desparate people grasp at straws anything to keep what little they have left of their party going until the next election. Their ship is sinking and very few lifeboats. They are scared to death of Nancy Pelosi. They know that she is likely to find more scandal to investigate and that will further sink their ship.

It seems they have this self-destructive streak going and can't stop. It's like they have this desperate need to keep shouting, I'm a hypocrite and I can't stop myself. I have never seen anything like the last two years from the republican party, it's absolutely amazing to watch.

I'm not a republican but I can guess that they don't like it because she lowered herself to their level and dressed like them and kissed their butt.
