Actually the X and Y sperm swim at two different speeds that is why there is many myths about position and many are true for example the male Y swims faster but only for a brief moment the X or female sperm swim slower but at a very consistent speed that is why if you want a boy the male needs to release closer to the egg or further away for a girl man on top for a boy or woman upside down is good too or for a girl on top in vertical position

No, but some studies show that the X and Y sperms (which designate girl and boy respectively) live different amounts of time and if you want a girl you have sex several days before ovulating and if you want a boy you have sex right after ovulation. No clue if it works though

No. The gender of the foetus is determined solely by which sperm fertilises the egg. If the sperm carriyes Y chromosome, it will be male. If it carries an X, female.

No. Not all. Female sperm swim slower than male. So depending on when you have sex in correlation with ovulation will determine the gender of the child.

no not at all that is a myth. none of those things are true "if it sits low it's a boy" "if you eat certain foods it's a certain sex" the only thing that determines the sex is the y chromosome from the guy.
