I don't think that your main problem is related to the cracked exhaust manifold. The only symptom you would get from that would be a loud exhaust noise which may quiet down when the manifold heats and expands.

Your engine may have been seriously overheated at some point and cracked the block. Oil would not come from the exhaust manifold. You may have also blown the head gasket and/or warped the head.

Autoinspector is a phony. You could remove that manifold altogether and it wouldn't affect your performance that much. You should find out why the engine is dogging down before you start pouring money into that thing. Oil out of the manifold sounds like a cracked head.

Others suggested that a cracked manifold couldn't cause driveability problems - they are wrong! The downstream O2 sensor readings will get scrambled because of leak through the crack. Take care of the manifold before taking any further actions - it may fix it.

It sounds like your problem is more than a manifold. Possibly cracked head or head gasket. You might be able to weld your manifold, but I would suggest looking deeper in the motor for your other probs.

first of all the manifold if it has a small crack in it will not make your car run as bad as you described. first of all, change your spark plugs, wires, fuel filter and air filter sounds like you need a major tune up and also when the car runs fine until it warms up and starts to lose power is a great indication that your catalytic converter is piling up on you. you must replace it. once you repair it and do a tune up your car will run like new.

First you could try one of the liquid weld products. Start there.
