These companies are always trying to sell you a trial, even though when the survey starts they lie by saying no purchase necessary. This is giving online surveys a bad name. I have been trying to start doing surveys, but I am getting tired of being lied to.The companies that want the surveys are getting ripped off by these online survey distributers. People like me just want to fill out a simple survey for a simple price, because all of this other stuff in between is just wasting our time. Time is money!! If you can send them to me it would help both parties involved, I have just about got to the point that I am tired of wasting my time for nothing.

I so agree! I hate the sites which claim to be for surveys but then make you sign up for offers (Panda Research is one I signed up with--but ran away quick when I saw what they were doing).

I've listed most of the sites I have taken surveys through and actually been paid (or received other rewards like gift cards or CD'S) on the my website (linked below), and NOT ONE of them will make you sign up for anything. They are just survey sites--that's it.

I also have a page on spotting scams here, if you're interested:

PS...noticing the post above me. I should mention these will not pay you huge amounts--$1-10 per survey usually. The most I've even been offered for a survey was $30 (and I didn't qualify). I've never found one that payed $75-100s that I've seen some sites claim.

Surprise surprise - scams turn out to be different than they say when you sign up.

There are lots of surveys done free, so whatever anyone claims here, the companies that claim to pay you big bucks for filling them out are not being truthful.
