I see it's now about 600k residents. Does it feel like a big city?

It has more of the small town feel than it does the big city feel.

Austin is considered one of THE most liberal cities in America. Sandra Bullock loves Austin. And Hey, Willie Nelson lives in Austin. Cant beat Austin, Texas

Compared to the rest of Texas,it's so liberal,it's almost socialist.However,in comparison to the more liberal cities in the North-east,Austin would be considered middle of the road.It sure is getting big though,I remember when it was about 250k.
Did you know that Austin is the largest city in the US that does not have a professional sports team?

it actually has over a million people. i'm from austin. i live in dallas now. austin is liberal compaered to the other cities in texas, but remember it's still texas and it is still the south. austin is a beautiful city with interesting people. great weather. i can't wait to get the hell out of dallas and go there.
and it does have more like a small town feel. u wouldn't even thin k we have over a million people. its one of the fastest growing cities in the us.

i ought to suspect that the STATE authorities, less than the hot Governor, has extra to do with the properly-being of cities in Texas, then the guy cities. 37% of all new jobs contained in the previous few years in u . s . a . have better contained in the full state of Texas, no longer in basic terms Austin.

the traffic feels like a big city but the ppl are friendly and it has a lot of old city charm to it while still staying young and trendy i love it here and yeah it is pretty liberal

Austin is quite liberal, indeed! It's the "bluest" county in Texas.
