I have that movie in my collection. John Cusak and Demi Moore are definitely worth mentioning, but you can't overlook the performance of Bobcat Goldwaith and Pro Wrestler "Hustler" Rip Rogers. (Rip was the colorful biker dude...)

"One Crazy Summer" 1986 Director/Writer:Steve Holland...... John Cusack.....Demi Moore........It's a movie about teens partying on Nantucket Island, New England. Kind of offbeat fun filled crazy comedy. It's pretty good. I liked it.

....despite most of his background talent well steeped in television, director Savage Steve Holland is best known to most viewers as the one who brought us the wildly animated (whether both live and cartoon) trilogy, "Better Off Dead", "ONE CRAZY SUMMER", and "How I Got Into College"; although having not partaken in the motion picture realm in many years, reportedly he is one of the screenplay writers in Howard Stern's remake of "Porky's", so I really don't think we, the eagarly awaiting movie audience, have seen the last of this maniacally creative film maker.

Very funny...remember the grandmother who charged them for meals? How about the rabid dolphin movie they were filming? Not as good as "Better Off Dead" but I really liked it back in the day.
