well u see i used to like the show like a year ago but then i grew up more and I dont know how it happened but I stopped watching it now just this week I started looking for the episodes (I'm 14) and I found a website with every single episode. I spent like 3 entire full days in front of my computer watching every single episode, and when i go to sleep I can hear the theme music in my head. Well now Im kind of scared what will happen when I finish the show because I fear that I will "miss" all of the characters and stuff. Also now everything I do I think to myself, hmm what would Gohan (one of the main characters) do and I try to have his personality of being really nice and I try my best not to curse or be even slightly mean. HELP I cant even convince myself that its just a show anymore.

I have a similiar story, so I know how you feel. Akira Toriyama (the creator) also designs characters for the Dragon Quest video game series. I started it about two months ago and it took me almost a month to beat it (it took me over 100 hours to beat it...) Anyway, I named the main character Gohan and it happened, I got back into dragonballz.
Needless to say I've been a little 'obessed' so to speak with it. But for Gohan, I was always mad that Goku took over the role of hero, and Gohan married Videl *angry glare* But then I learned this:
+Akira wanted to end it after the frieza saga, but his wife (and fans) insisted he continue
+He wanted to end it after the cell saga, but fans wanted more.
+Gohan WAS supposed to be the main character, but fans wanted Goku more...and they ruined Gohan's character.
Don't worry, when it comes to obession indulge, put several DBZ songs onto your ipod, watch the videos and think about it, obession dies out eventually or calms down to a point where you enjoy it, but not to the point of obession.

It's fine if you are obsessed. It happens. I will 100% cry when the last episode of Bleach comes out (which I hope it never does) because I am fully addicted to that show! I start screaming my head off whenever a new episode is up for download and the fight scenes I watch more than once so I don't miss anything. I wish I could buy all the merchandise but alas I am not rich and I don't work, but my computer is FULL of Bleach pics, wallpapers and other things. My MySpace is all Bleach. Anyways, I suggest you find another anime to be "obsessed about" so then when you finish Dragonball Z, you won't miss it as much.

I was sad when DBZ ended...... Z, not GT, GT sucked and should never have been created, but yeah with Z I did...
I still watch it from time to time, as i have the entire series plus all movies on DVD/VHS. I also play the new games for PS2 such as Budokai 3 and Budokai Tenkaichi 2.
DB is old, done, and over with in most countries today, but it's popularity precedes itself. They are still making new DBZ games today, which originate in Japan before coming to other countries, and DBZ has been over in Japan since 1994, so, DBZ will always be seen as a legend of anime, and definately on the top 5 list of most popular animes of all time.

OMG i used to watch DBZ when i was in third grade, but anyways i so loved the show!!! i will burst in tears when naruto finishes though because i actually liked it better than dbz, dont worry though even if you finish there still is dragonball gt, its pretty good and has way cooler fight scenes, goku and vegeta even turn ssj 4!!! and goten grows up.....well the show is like a sequel to dbz pretty much.

Yes,lol,thats fine. You are defidently not the only one like that,and you cant help what you like. To be completly honest im 16 and i still love baby dolls,and i buy toys all the time! Theres no prob with it,maybe just dont let the whole world know like i just did! lol

LOL!!! Just kidding. Here, let me help you with some spoilers.
1) Gokou will die. (Duh!!! Doesn't he always???)
2) Gohan will become more powerful than you can possibly immagine. (Duh!!! Don't they always???)
3) Gokou will be resurrected by the dragon balls. (Duh!!! Like, another "always" incident!!!)
And finally...
4) Vegeta will become BALD!!! (No, not really!!! *whew!!!* Although Pan will grow up to be a pretty hot little chick!!!)
Don't know who Pan is? Well... That's for me to know, and for you to find out!!!
Suffice to say, DBZ and DB-GT will be around for qute some time yet. Yey!!!!

dragonball z is over. it WAS a popular anime back a few years ago- find a new anime to be obssesed with. We have enuff Naruto obessions so don't be one of those crazy- no- CRAZY fans.
