I would not clone a dead relative for two reasons:
1. The clone would not be the person who has died, but would be an entirely new person.
2. The world has an overpopulation of people already, so it wouldn't make much sense to make some more people in this way.

If you were to clone a deceased relative, you would not be bringing that beloved person back from the dead. Essentially, you would be giving life to their identical twin, many years removed. The cloned individual would not BE your dead relation, but rather a completely different and independent individual who has the appearance of your dead relation. That, I think, would be *more* painful than the death of a loved one. I think it would be very difficult to have the perfect physical image of someone you love always before you and *still* have to accept the fact that they are never coming back.

no. Their life & manarisms were created by their experiences and those cannot be duplicated. Also, they would have to start from being a baby and have no memory of you. Once they were old enough to be told what happened, who wants the burden of having to grow up in the shadow of what they supposedly were?
