I like to hear the American accent only because that's what I'm used to.
Now, if I were talking to a British woman. That's another thing. The British accent(s) are sexier, specially when it's coming from a woman. Just my opinion.

Both English and Americans have different accents - I think I prefer English because I am English and I do love our accent but I do love the American accent aswell

I live in England but I am not originally from here. I happen to like the Scottish rather than the English accent. But between English and American accent, i love the American accent. I sound sexy. The English accent just sound rough and stern to me.

I prefer the English accent because it is fun to pretend that you are from England.
The only phase I like with an American accent is "Hey, we just got back from Walmart".

I love the Scottish accent best of all. It sounds so musical and for guys it sounds sexy! English accents are nice too, they sound elegant and some are comical and really cute. For me, American accents, particularly the southern varieties, just sound very comfortable and relaxed. I like them because they sound like home. It's the way most of my friends and family talk. And y'all is fun to say!

I like the Scottish accent over them all. Irish would be second.
Some english accents are better than others. Some sound effeminate like Hugh Grant or cool like Lenny "The Guv'na" McClean.

Kinda depends....if Brit accents are on American shows, it gets sooooooo annoying!!!....well....I'd like any accent, as long as it's different from everyone elses. I'm American, so if I had a British accent, I would be sooooo happy!!!!...but if I was Brit I would want an American accent!!!!

I love the English accents, especially Yorkshire accents. I love the US southern accents (Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, North Carolina, etc)
HATE: Chicago accents, Michigan accents and Wisconsin accents

I dont really prefer one over the other yet there are some things about the english that I like. For instance and elevator is called a lift. And if you ask how they are they might say very well thank you. Or if you get a letter from them they might say I hope this finds you well. It just seem that they put the language together to be more proper.
