Ok...here is the situation. Im divorced...have been so for about 2 years. I have three kids that i ADORE. They make me feel alive. They are great! I have a good job and i do love what i do for a living, and though my ex does take a large chunk out of my paycheck, id consider myself well off. My divorce had allot to do with one incident in my life that has shaped my destiny for the past few years. My ex told me that she would never have sex with me untill i had a vacectomy. And it came down to either doing it or saying goodbye. There were many fights over this and then i just said to myself, just do it. After i did, my ex told me she didnt want me sexualy and only wanted me to do that so that i wouldnt put our kids last once we divorced and i had kids with someone else. I was devistated and we split.
My question....are there any women out there who would find a 39 year old guy, who has had a vacectomy, has three kids and is looking for..well..love?

Wow, good decision to leave her. She sounds like a very miserable person.
There are lots of women in and around your age group that don't want children. So, you haven't painted yourself into that small of a corner. Just be very clear about the fact when it comes time. Or look into having it reversed if the right one comes along and children are desired.

There is nothing wrong with the situation you are in.
Women would not find it a turn off if you have kids and/or have had a vacectomy. PLUS, you can always have it reversed.
It really sucks that you had an ex that did that to you, but don't let it shape your destiny. You have the power to choose what goes on in your life and you can choose your future. Your ex is your ex... move on, and meet someone who will treat you the way you should be treated.

If your meant to love someone else then yes...it won't matter that you've had a vasectomy. I think by that age most women are past the whole wanting a child. You sound like a very sincere man and I don't think you'll have a problem finding love again. Stop looking for it and it will show up where you least expected it to. All the best to you and you kids.

That was a really crappy, vendictive thing for your ex to do. The good news for you is that a vasectomy CAN BE REVERSED!!!!!! I would go talk to a urologist ASAP to see what can be done about it. Also, just know.....there are lots of wonderful women who are in the same boat or point in their lives as you. If you are a genuinely good person and everything you say about yourself is true, then you are a great catch. Someone will see that in you and will love you for who you are and accept your children too. Don't give up hope! There are nice women out there, you just gotta stay on your toes.

Oh yeah but does the ex have much to do in your life still? What I mean is Has all the custody and visitation scheduling been solved and do you fight every time you pick up or drop off your children are you an active parent and does she put much input in your life? Lots of women are okay as long as they are not put into the middle of your ex Maridel problems.

If you are funny, confident, and a nice cool guy I will be looking for a relationship with you.. it really didnt matter what where the circumstances... live it all behing do let it ruin the rest of your life and your confidence because that is the most important key when it comes to approching women.. Sorry, I am married, but in my opinion you are every woman's dream. I am very blessed to have my three biological girls, but when I met my husband, he had a daughter already and she is now mine in my heart if not my body...
Point is, it would not have mattered if he had a vasectomy. from what I hear, there is absolutely no sexual reperccussions from it...Just the ultimate end result.
Also, I know that they say not to get one if you plan on getting it reversed, but it is possible...

There is someone for everyone and that woman is a beast! How can she do that to someone that like saying lets have sex and then telling you after the fact that she has AIDS so you wont be able to have sex with anyone else.
I would take her *** to court.
