You have formatted a drive while doing a Linux installation for a production server. The formatting revealed that there were several bad blocks. You see that the bad blocks make up about four percent of the total disk. Which of the following would be the best course of action?

*Reformat the drive with a high level format.
*Reformat the drive with a low level format.
*Replace the drive.
*Mark the blocks as "bad" and continue the installation.

Remember you said it's a server. You don't want to keep 50 people waiting due to server failure

since this is the production server it means you have users that need it ASAP more then likely. How did you format the drive the first time the question does not state? I am assuming a low level format was done. If that is the case the next logical step would be a high level format but odds are also that the drive is bad and being that this is a server and a user base may very well be waiting for this ASAP then you need to probably just replace the drive and then diagnose this issue at a later time.
