Fat - maybe we eat too many of those products that guarantee weight gain? (Like the hormones they feed cattle and such - and then we eat them?) I'm beginning to think there is something to that...
Ugly - TV tends to make us think "beautiful people" as the norm. I think "passable looks" is the norm. But - yes - a lot of Americans are ugly. Why? I don't know. Must be genetics.
You CAN disguise a lot of the flaws if you have enough money for dentistry, getting the right haircut, and the right clothes.

I take it your not the person on the avatar. If in real life you are a big person and don't like it. Don't hate yourself or others. Just change your eating habits. instead of junk food eat healthy. Instead of fried foods obt for baked, boiled or broiled. Snacks eat carrots or veggies. For liquid drink water or diet soda. As sweetener use artificial no calories saccharin free. Try not to eat to much pasta or breads. Don't be mean be lean. I wish you well.

not all of them are fat, just most of them. when i was in usa i almost starved for the lack of decent food. they have pizza. huge enormous or extra gigantic. crisps come in huge packs. coke etc comes in buckets. its impossible to buy small food. walking is just not done. mum drives kids to the bus stop. if they continue in this way the earth will tilt off its axis due to the weight of america.
