actually sir...i feel that we are also under some obligation to the nation tat has provided us shelter and all.so i feel the least we can do is to maintain it uncorrupted...butsince we are unable to help us, let us contribute watever we can to the country by which we mean the government which rules the country.then also we find that ppl are trying to go to many ends to avoid even that basic duty of theirs.in fact i believe the gangsters way of administration were a copy of the government and not the other way round.

I'm a Libertarian, too, but I don't share your view of the military.
We need the military for defense. If it is misused, that doesn't negate the fact that we need it for defense.
No, army service is not contract killing, and no, soldiers are not trained or taught to just wantonly kill. Basic training is six weeks long. It doesn't take near that long if all you want is a killing machine.
Anyway, when someone goes on a mad spending spree with plastic and screws up their credit, you don't blame the credit card, right? You don't blame the economic system, right? You don't castigate money and commerce generally, right? It's not the Army's fault that the people keep sending the wrong people to be in control of the Army.
The rest of your observations about government have merit.

Protections are built into the government to ensure that we are governmened by the consent of the majority with protections for the minority, so keep paying your taxes, and be thankful that we have a system where you can spout ignorant nonsense in a public forum without being harmed in any way.
Gangsters and hitmen don't answer to the voters, but the civilian leaders of the military and the IRS do.

Oppression?
You're an American citizen....one of the least oppressed people in the world. Why not go ask this in the deep Middle East or in the African badlands...see what they think about your "oppression".
And in a world where there is no such thing as absolutes, why don't you start a country, become one of the most powerful, successful and influential cultures in the world, and then do it all without an army. I'm sure your good will is going to be appreciated by some, but it'll be taken advantage of by ten times as many. There are 6.5 billion people in the world...they're not all nice, happy and peaceful.
Grow up.

Oppression depends on the mind set. There is no harm when someone is killed, while protecting yourself from attack. Christ asked the people to show their left cheeks if someone beats on their right cheeks. He did not say anything when both cheeks are beaten.

Oppression! It all depends on the situation, I feel. If you want freedom, peace etc., you need to compromise or tolerate lot of things. It only depends on limits for compromise / tolerence. Any thing that crosses the limit is no good. Any control to set things right, is right.

We the people are responsible for the government. It does not exist for itself, it exists for us.
If we abdicate our responsibility to control our government then we have no one to blame but ourselves.
