Siphon out as much as you can, then pull the tank and drain it. If you have any in the fuel line, open the fuel line and turn on the key and let the fuel pump push it all out. Put in a new gas filter and then you're back in business.

If you haven't diluted the gas too much 60/40 diesel the engine will still operate. If it's mixed any stronger the engine may not operate. If you have some 5 gal. pails you may be able to siphon most of the fuel out. You don't have to remove the tank. Refill the tank with gas. Your mistake will not damage the engine.

probability!!! Diesel and gas do mixture. The practice is amazingly risky and assorted truckers die each and consistent with annum because of the fact their autos explode. once you fill with gas, the fumes chase all oxygen out of the ineffective air area above the gasoline. With diesel, the choice occurs; it evaporates so slowly that the oxygen keeps to be interior the tank. With a mix, some oxygen keeps to be and the fumes from the gas mixture with it growing to be a very flamable gasoline/air mixture which, if it unearths a spark (like from an in-tank electric powered gasoline pump working very low on gasoline/diesel liquid) it is going to explode the full vehicle. In some states that's illegitimate and could be everywhere.

DISCONNECT THE FUEL LINE FROM THE CARBURETOR, ATTACH A RUBBER HOSE TO THE FUEL LINE LONG ENOUGH TO RUN IT INTO A GAS CAN, THEN TURN THE KEY ON AND THE FUEL PUMP WILL START PUMPING THE DIESEL. REFILL THE TANK WITH GAS AND THE LITTLE DIESEL LEFT OVER WILL DISSAPATE INTO THE GAS. THIS HAPPENED TO ME, VERY ANNOYING.
