This is an ignorant question. Imus was fired because advertisers pulled out. If there are no advertisers, there is no money. 50 and Chris Rock don't have advertisers. They make records and do comedy shows and make movies. So long as people go to their movies and buy their albums and go to their shows, they will always have a job. 50 also is a very smart business man who has his own clothing line, shoe line, and bottled water line. You can't fire the boss. If Imus owned MSNBC, he could still have a job. But when you are old and irrelevant, the second your show stops making money is the second you don't have a job.

I don't think you've really listend to Chris Rock, he is one of the best comedic voices of his generation, his comedy isn't the hacky white people do this black people do that. I sugget listening to him before accusing him.
