As a fit man, no offense, I would suggest wearing stylish BUT conservative clothing. To me, an overweight woman wearing conservative clothing looks like a fit woman wearing conservative clothing. I just find it repulsive to see a 50 pound overweight woman wearing a belly shirt.

First of all, don't let anyone put you down by saying you probably look like a big giant. That's ignorant!!! Everyone is sexy in their own way. Not all men like stick figures that look like 10 year old boys. What is hot right now is curves, so show it off with whatever you are comfortable in. Skinny jeans are gonna be out real soon. Get some flair jeans or bootlegs, then pair it with a top that comes down past your waistline and get a great belt to wear over the shirt at your natural waistline. Then do the shoes and accessories to pull it all together:) Happy Shopping!!!

I would go to New York and Company, Marshalls, and also look for tall women stores. Also check out catalogs. One of my co-workers is tall, I'd say she is a size 10, but she still tries to squeeze in size 6 clothes. She looks like a tall Gumby that has floods on everyday. Take it from me, whatever you do make sure that your clothes are not too small. I would get a larger size any day and go to the cleaners and get it tailored or altered to my size than to get a size that is too small. One of my friends is short and a little on the heavy size. She will sometimes purchase items that may be a little too big and take them to the cleaners and get her pants altered and cuffed and all of her other items. I tell you she looks like a million bucks because her clothes look like they were made just for her. Did you know that the fashion models clothes are made just for them. They are not buying size 0-6 off the rack. They have seamstresses that are sewing up their shirts and pants to fit them perfectly. Why can't we do the same thing. Hope this helps!!! You will look like a million bucks.

Baby Rach is a sad little person weho has no self esteem, and doesn't know any way to make herself feel worthy except by putting down other people. That's not how to elevate yourself!

I'll bet you look great! You can wear long lanky jeans and you can wear fabulous long jackets, either western style, or, fi you're a girlie girl, those pretty edwardian-style blazers. Stuff that shorties like me can't wear! Like you'd look beautiful in a peasant skirt or a long denim ruffled skirt, whereas I would just look like a hobbit.

Above all, make sure your clothes FIT. You don't want to be a muffin top, but you don't want to wear a muu muu either.

I'm a size 18, and 5'7". I like wearing solid colored clothing as well as jeans. My favorite outfits are the ones where I can wear a pair of slenderizing boot cut jeans with my black boots that have a heel. I wear them a lot with shirts that are cut longer, like the flowing hem shirts that are popular. For work, I tend to wear dark pants with flats, but would rather wear the heel'd shoes. I got a lot of ideas from the magazine FIGURE. Its for taller, larger gals. Wear what makes you comfortable and what makes you feel good!

If you're a taller sized woman with a little meat on your bones (which is completely inspirational, considering half of America is anorexic), the best fit for you would be layers. When you put on an elongated top or a tunic top, it lowers your hips so you look slightly thinner and slightly shorter. Polos would be the best bet for you considering the plunging neckline with increase the looker of being a little shorter and it will also sport the other goods you have to offer.

Hope I helped!

Definately wear clothes you're comfortable in. Find things that compliment your figure. In other words, don't buy something that hugs your curves so tight people can tell what you've got on underneath. I find that each individual can generally tell if they feel right in an outfit and they pretty much know if they look right. Listen to your initial reaction. If you find yourself pulling, tugging or trying to cover something up, pass on the outfit.

if you're tall, buy skinny jeans!! they look amazing on people with long legs and they are VERY in style, pair them with a pair of flats and you will look so cute!! also buy some sun dresses for summer, but avoid going too short so you won't look skanky. Hope that helped!
