You only get feedback if you complete a transaction by buying or selling an item.
Edit: Duh, sorry..I misunderstood your question. I guess some sellers are just too busy to respond...bad for business. I've asked Q's about an item and gotten an answer the same day.

Too often people place these items online and are unavailable to answer questions during the day due to work hours. They may not have access to their ebay accounts from work. If it has been a few days, I would consider that the person isn't seriously interested in selling the item or just doesn't check their email frequently. If just a few hours have gone by... be patient. If it is days... well... it's up to you to re send or forget about it.

It depends on the items you are asking questions about. If the seller is a busy, working, parent... they'll get back to you as soon as they have time to log on... HOWEVER, if you are asking about electronic or high ticket items that MIGHT be illegal, stolen, or bootleg: the questions you ask might make them realize you might be on to them, even if you just want to know more about an item. So, do your research and check a seller's feedback before bidding and paying. Good Luck!!!
