Whoever wears the C that night.
Drury would be my guess. It could be either.
ClayMeow- The Sabres do have two captains, the switch every night. Drury is a captain one night, then Briere is the next. Teppo is the A.

Interesting question...I would think that they both would accept the Cup. Although, when the Pens won the Stanley Cup, it was handed to Mario, but Bob Errey and Paul Coffey (the alternate captains) were right there next to him and they all grabbed it together.
I wouldn't be surprised if Drury, Briere and Numminen all went up together...
But I'm not a Buffalo fan and I would hate to see them win. I want to see the Pens raise that Cup once more...

To tell you the truth I don't care who will accept as long as they are wearing a Sabres Jersey!!! I think they should let Tom Golisano on the ice to accept for all he has done to this franchise!!!

drury. briere is awesome but drury is the real captain. the team knows it, the fans know it, everyone knows it. briere will take it second. drury started the season as captain, started the playoffs as captain...

Why can't both accept an award if a team has two captains? There's not something that says they can't. That's too far away to even think about, anyway. Don't say the S------ C-- words anymore, either! No bringing down bad luck!

Well first, they won't win.
But let's say they do. There can only be ONE captain on a team for any given game, with a max of two alternates, or if nobody wears the C, they can have 3 alternates.

No one at all because they will never win. How many playoff opportunities have the Sabres choked in? You have a cup up there right?? No wait, never had a cup. Thats right. Thanks Brett Hull for bringing the Sabres only chance to an end. 2nd round loss for the Buffalo Bannana Slugs this year!
Let's Go Pens!!

They would probably accept it together. Of course this is purely theoretical since they won't be winning.
