Mine was "Girl With a Pearl Earring" by Tracy Chevalier - I didn't want to finish it and when I did I was so obsessed I had to rent the movie the next day and research the real story.
Same with "The Other Boleyn Girl". I read all about the Tudors.

I loved the Other Boleyn Girl!
I have Just read a book called "Faith and Fire" which was very good
But the books i really love are "The Empire Series" by Raymond E. Fiest
Or "Memnoch the Devil" by Anne Rice.

I think you would like 'Lovely Bones' by Alice Sebold, its an amzing storyline and is being made into a film by Peter Jackson. Its about a young girl who gets killed by someone from their neighbourhood, then from heaven she watches her family pick up the pieces. Sounds depressing but its not!

Peter Kay's sound of laughter.
