You can't convince anyone of anything.....They have to believe it themselves. They have to have faith in it.

It's like this.....I know that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of this world, but if you don't there is nothing on this world that would convince you until He introduced Himself to you personally.

HI.. Tell him about Demi and Ashton.. : ) If that doesn't help tell him the statistics. Look it up and try to find a poll. There are many many couples that are 10-15 years apart in age. Age is just a #. My mother is 12 years senior to her husband. They have been together 10 years. It sounds like your partner has a lack of self confidence. When you have these type issues, it's hard to put trust into something when you don't believe in yourself. You shouldn't worry about age, if he/she truly wants to be with you, then age should not be an issue. You should not have to convince each other of being together just because there is an age difference. Tell your partner how you really feel and see if you can get him/her to talk about why he/she is so insecure. I hope this helps!!

Do not let age inhibit your ability to be great together...age is just a number. Let him know that! My husband and I are 13-1/2 years apart (he's older) and we have been together for 10 years (I was 21, he was 34) and we have been married for five years, and have an awesome daughter. Who says it can't work? Only you can make that decision!

I don't think the questions is how you can convince him, the questions is does he love you or like you enough to come to you himself. You cannot convince anyone against there will of anything. Why would you want to be with someone that you had to force to be with you regardless his age!

It depends on how old you are. If you are over 25 yourself, it can work out.

If you are in your earlier 20's believe me, you are going to change a lot in the next couple of years.

If that's the case, wait. If it is meant to be, it will be.

No one should have to CONVINCE the other in a good relationship. It should just be natural.

Well ... just love him and prove him that the age is not the important thing. I am 17 years younger than my boyfriend. We're happy. :) Good luck with yours.

im assuming that u are the younger one here. in any case, assure him that your love will help ya'll along. ,any couples have a big age difference, also many factors may be on his mind, sex, children,...... etc...
but once u know u are willing to go the distance, go for it!
