I don't think so. The other constestants such as Stephanie, Gina Glockston, and Chris Sligh that have already gone home have much superior voices than Sanjaya. Melinda, Lakisha, Blake, and Jordin are the only ones left who truly deserve a shot a winning. Phil, I like Phil, but if he goes home I am o.k. with that because I know his skills aren't that compared the other contestants. But seriously Sanjaya can not sing. It isn't fair to the other contestants with a true talent to have Sanjaya continuing to advance on the show. If he wins, American Idol I truly think will see its end.

I completely agree with you.

This show gives people a chance at a singing profession that would never be noticed otherwise. Come on people, the joke's over. Start voting for who you really think is the best. If you don't like the show, then just don't watch it but don't mess up the only chance that these people will ever get!

Thanks!

It's gotten to the point where people that hate him are starting to vote for him just to screw up the entire show. Radio shows like Howard Stern, Don & Mike and Ron & Fez are all lobbying for their listeners to vote for Sanjaya to stay. Not because they think he's great, but instead to mess up American Idol.

This should teach Simon, Paula and Randy a lesson. They should never have allowed this charity case to get beyond their own personal control. There were quite a few people that were better than Sanjaya that didn't even get to Hollywood. This show is a joke and it's surprising to me that it's taken this long to prove it.

Omg I tottaly agree, I don't really watch it that much anymore because I started to get bored with it after the 3rd season but I agree Sanjaya isn't that great of a singer. I loved Gina she has an awesome voice and then she leaves and that idiot stays.

Personally, I still love Kelly Clarkson more than any of them.

Gosh, various you each and every person is entirely undeniable advise!! he's there because of the certainty human beings like him! i'll agree that he's not any extra the ideal singer indoors the competition, yet for petes sakes, now not each and every person may be the ideal! Phil, as an celebration, has in straightforward phrases sung ideal as right this moment as so a techniques in this opposition. Chris, is an egotistical jerk, who advantages the boot. He sings at contemporary out of his nostril and it sounds poor. I even have enjoyed Lakisha because of the certainty the commencing up up, yet very final night her making a music replaced into purely undeniable horrendous. Sanjaya has shown concepts-blowing self-worth, poise, and graciousness up there on an identical time as each and every person is consistently putting him down. grant the undesirable teen a harm!!!

That fool is there as the court jester. Really, were it not for him and most of America wanting to see him crash and burn (or his nappy head catch fire), AI would not even have an audience this season. The only female remotely worth looking at was voted off so we're left with the girls of Delta Mega Moo sorority. The guys couldn't carry a tune in a bucket and are their own little carnival side shows.

Probably not. But the reality IS, this program is NOT for the contestants- it's for the viewers (& the sponcers who are making money off of THEM). And if the viewers like Sanjaya, even though he can't sing, who's going to tell everyone who like him that he should be kicked off??! Remember; TV is entertainment...-It's not necessarily a reflection of Reality. Even CNN is not as "realistic" as it could be...-& THAT'S supposed to REFLECT something that's "real"- the news. :)

it's fair. the premise of the show is that america gets to vote. clearly the majority want him to stay, even it is for their amusement rather than to idolize him. if someone else on the show is talented and voted off they'll probably still have gotten recognized and get offers for contracts and what not....

I agree. I love his personality, but his voice doesn't compare. Teenage girls fell in love with his smile, not his singing. Too bad the producers can't do anything... I guess likeability is part of his talent, not just his voice, kind of like looking good or knowing how to hold the microphone.
