Both are grammatically correct. Which one to use depends on the context.

#1 if the conversation is taking place at the car in question. "Bring" implies action going toward the speaker.

#2 if the conversation is taking place anywhere else. "Take" implies action that's either going away from the speaker or happening someplace else.

A person sitting in the car would say #1. Hey Bob, what did you bring to the car?

A person in the house would say #2. What did you take to the car? Or "What did Bob take to the car?"

One of the above answerers had it correct. You bring towards you, and you take away from you.

They are both correct depending on context.

If you are in or by the car you would use the first, if somewhere else the second.

If you are in the car and your friend is approaching:
"What have you brought to the car?"
If you are in the house and your friend is returning from the car: "What did you take to the car?"

Frequently "correct" English (especially spoken) is whatever gets you understood.....

Both are okay. But I use"bring" when something is coming TOWARDS ME, and "take" when going away from me.
So, if I am in the car, I'd say "What did you bring?"
But if I'm in house, I'd say "What did you take to the car?"

They are both grammatically correct but it just depends on what exactly it is you wish to say!

it depends on the situation. if the person asking you the question is standing at the car when you arrive, they say number one. if they're someone else, and you've just gone to them after going to the car, they'll say number 2.
