Don Imus as an individual may not be all that important, but the discussion that has risen up around his remark is VERY important. Anna Nicole is another matter.

Actually, no, I can't remember a time. We had Clinton getting a BJ when Saddam was out of control, a war in Lebanon when an astronaut wore diapers on a 2000 mile drive...

Yes, it is so unfortunate that this sort of thing happens nowadays. WE are to blame for that, you know? Our society lets this sort of thing happen then it becomes the 'norm'.
You and I both know there are way more important things going on in the world than the crap they are reporting....and they get paid big bucks to do it too.

News is all about ratings and sponsors. People like to hear about the disrupted lives of the rich and influencial.

um...is there really anything else to report on? I mean maybe American Idol? They wouldn't report politics or war or real news so um I bet it will be either brittney spears or american idol.
