Do what you know in your heart is right. If he made you miserable before, it will be worse than before because he'll think he can step all over you and get away with it. If you're having trouble trusting him now, it's nothing compared to what it would be if you got back with him. Remember, there's a REASON you got divorced. That problems you two had probably haven't been resolved if you just ended your marriage, and I hate to say it but, it sounds like he might just want a warm body to sleep next to when his girlfriend is at work. Besides, who knows how many diseases he's gotten by now?!?!

Get some serious counseling before you make any decision...
Just because he wants you back does not mean you are requirred to return...
Take some time out, work on you and your self-esteem so whatever relationship you choose to enter into in the future is entered into on your terms and with a clear head... When a person enters into a relationship with a clear sense of self and a healthy self-image the relationship has a better chance of being rewarding for both them and thier partner...

He made you miserable for 8 years and you're considering taking him back? Either you're a glutton for punishment or you overstated how bad he was. I'd suggest staying away from him and finding someone who is not chasing strippers.

You would be committing suicide in a way if you went back with him. But apparently you're considering it or you wouldn't ask. I guess the stripper dumped him and now he wants you back. What an insult. I wouldn't even talk to him again.

Listen I was in a relationship of 7yrs and on our 2nd yr he cheated and gave me herpes..why would you want to stay around and wait till he does something again? or gives you an STD thats uncurable. Get your stuff and get out before its too late. My problem was I was only 19 young and gullable and didnt know better and now for my next relationship I will know what to do. I know better. Get out now and go find someone who truly loves you and respect you as hard as it is....good luck!
