It has all those... the magnetic field flips appx every 11 yrs and there is some speculation that there may even be solid components to the surface...

The Sun does have a core which has a very high density. Still, I am nor sure if you could call it solid.

The photosphere consists mainly of ions, as for the rest it may even contain molecules in cooler regions (The surface of the Sun, not the core is coolest)

If I had to guess between these two I would pick that it does not consist mainly of ions

Acually the sun does have a core, and surprisingly, I heard that it is an extremely cold one.

dude .. it doesnt have a solid core... its obvious .. even the earth doesnt have a solid core ... imagine how hot the sun is at the core... nothing can be solid at that temperature...
