I work in a grocery store and I think that is the rudest thing when someone is yapping away on their cell phone while they are checking out. Not only are they holding the line up but they are sometimes very rude like YOU are the one being annoying. That pisses me off. So to answer your question I hate that.

It's kind of annoying. When I'm using the restroom I like for it to be nice and quiet.

i don't really mind in the public bathroom, unless of course they're talking about something i really don't wanna hear...

if i'm trying to help them at work i get SO ANGRY! i don't care if it's an important call, it's extremely rude and if they do it, i'm just rude right back to them

I think it is completely rude towards the person waiting on you and the person you are on the phone with. I totally agree.

I feel frustrated & annoyed with the impolite response, and at this point, I cease to be helpful and let them try to get aid elsewhere.

Its rude and inconsiderate and I make as much noise as I can to try to distrupt them and let whoever they are talking to know where the call is coming from.

People like that help me understand our societal need for selective chemical castration
