I dont get it. How does saying Black people like freid chicken and watermelon supposed to be an insult. Is saying asians like rice an insult to? What about white people and bologna?
I like grilled/roasted chicken better than fried, but I love watermelon. Its the best source of lycopene. Whats the problem?

I partially wanted to answer this question to say I like your screen-name.
I don't like bologna. I don't eat pig or cow, and I think it is made from one of those. ick...
I love fried chicken. When I was a child, it was the meal after church every Sunday. (I don't know if it means anything to comment here that I am from the south.)
When I was young, I picked the seeds out of watermelon because I didn't want one growing in my tummy. hehe...silly.

Go to any church with dinner on the grounds and you will find a ton of fried chicken and a tub full of watermelons.
That's all I have to say about that

I think that the problem is that Fried chicken is an unhealthy food and by saying that black people like this your basically saying they are low or dont care about there health. Water melon on the other hand i dont no where that came from

I never got that joke either. My dad loves fried chicken and watermelon and he is not black. I personally don't like fried chicken.

Nothing wrong with it. In fact Fried Chicken happens to be one of my favorite foods. And watermelon...give that one up.

There's nothing at all wrong with it . It is just that some people think of it as a racial thing , but that's only if you allow it to be . If your sure of yourself then you should not let such things offend you, it's just a statement...
