because you could be medium-ly fertile. Each person is different. for example. i finished my cycle on march 4th, and on march 11th, i was ovulation. when i had blood work done on the 12th of march, i was definitely ovulating.

The old 'knowledge' that you ovulate at day 14 of your cycle has been summarily disproved. Most women do. But many ovulate around 7 days, and/or around 21 days. You might be one of them, or might just be doing that this cycle.

Alternatively, if you're stressed or something is going on with you emotionally, that can affect your cycles too. It can make your period come late or early, can make you ovulate at bizarre times, or not at all.

My son was for certain conceived within a day or two of day 7 of my cycle.

You count from the first day of your last period. So Day 1 is the first day of your period, it ends on maybe day 5 or 6, and 6 days after that is day 11 or twelve. Your fertile phase is usually Day 14 to 16, plus two days after or before. (day 12-18). So you are right on schedule.

I think you are fertile 7-14 days after last day of period.

You might have a shorter cycle. Every woman is different. Or you might be ovulating early in some of your cycles.

Have you determined how long your cycles are? When they start and when they end helps with determining when ovulation takes place.
