Does anyone know which of the large U.S. banks has a significant presence in India? I'm moving there in the near future, and I want to open a new account that will be easily accessible in India.

Citibank is the best one. I have an account in the US and I can use debit cards in India for that. I even gave my parents debit cards so that they can withdraw money whenever they feel like.

Americal Express Bank has large presence in India. It will be most ideal if you opt for State Bank of India or ICICI Bank which are having branches in U.S. and wide coverage n India.
