You need ask? For your ambitions: learn to drive a car, finish college, meet the right woman, marry, Write a book, be happy, change the world/ DREAMS could run along the same line or be out there: fly a space ship, fine a cure for cancer, catch a record braking White Shark ? As for goals setting the path to fallow through on your ambitions and dreams. You can show how a dream can become an ambition once one sets there goals on some thing.
Dream of a cancer cure; ambition to study to be a research Doctor Goal is finish studies and apply your self to the task at hand. Or dream write this paper- ambition to gather knowledge & information: goal finish the paper. Got the idea now?

First tell the prospective reader about yourself, what are your values, priorities in life. Starting a paper about your ambition, dreams and goals would be better understood if we know your background and experiences in life. Then proceed with what is your life Mission and Vision, this represents the overall goal you want your life to go. It is a compass in the map of life. YOu have to know your North and South so that you will not be going around your life helplessly, or without directions.
Then talk about the specific goals to reach that vision or mission in your life. You can have so many topics here. Start with your personal life, professional life, married life, community life and finally your spiritual life, if you have any. Remember we are not just physical being we have a spiritual side to we have to take care of---in fact the most important!
Set up milestones you want to accomplish, just to guide you how far you have been going in reaching your dreams.
Finally, periodically reread and reevaluate your dreams, this is the essence of writing a plan. Then dont surrender if you are way far far from your dreams. Make a re-entry plan. Life is more meaningful this way, rising up from our falls ang keep going. Ask guidance and strength from God.

I guess if you have no ambition, dreams, or goals, your paper will be blank huh? If you have all of these, put your thoughts down on paper to share with others, not so as to take up space on a paper. That doesn't sound like a real promising future if you don't have any of the above. :(

ambition is the immediate and endurance ( energy ) available to reach the next goal up the ladder. The goals are the mile stones in progression to reach the dreams that start the whole process. The energy to reach the dream and the wisdom to adjust the goals to get that dream full filled.

Have a look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham_Maslow

Maslow was an American psychologist. He is noted today for his proposal of a hierarchy of human needs, considered the father of Humanism in psychology.

He said humans needed a hierarchy of needs and he breaks these down into groups that tie closely with what you need to write a paper about. Have a look at the link and you will get some ideas.

Good luck.
