I love you Steve and my sons love you.Thank you for sticking up for my boys when they aren't allowed to do it themselves except in private! You are a true American !And I'm NOT being sarcastic! I know your stance after reading many of your posts and know you want our boys to come home.Bless you !

that is a very good point. But a yellow ribbon doesn't bring back any dead soldiers. The yellow ribbon means nothing to me with reference to people who do NOT have anyone in their family, or friends serving, OTHER than that the bearer of such a symbol is simply glad they are not serving in Iraq. As for those who have lost loved ones, they have my sympathy. But I will not wave a flag or tie yellow ribbons to exhibit my support.

Considering you have never served in arms, I nor my brothers in arms believe you deserve an opinion, you may have the right to one but you sure as heck did nothing to deserve or earn it.

You have a lot of nerve to diss my friends and families dying while serving their country. When you step on the Corps you step in a world of hurt.

I would like to ask your little pansy as s a question, do you dare open your mouth in public when there are real men around, or do you just stand back there in awe.

I think you need to find a new line of work bubba, you are piss ing up the wrong tree trying to step on the people who allow you the rights you run off at the mouth about.

Pick a new subject sucker. Do you have any idea how many ex-military work at Yahoo? Doubt it, you see most companies see a military background as a valuable skill.

hey buddy did you know that the death rate for people driving in the u.s.a is a lot higher than the death rate of those in the war? yeah the death rate for car crashes is 43,000 every year. the death rate in the war is 3,000. that is a high number but the death rate of car crashes is a WHOLE LOT higher...

I am guessing in your case that ribbon matches your yellow streak. You should have a rainbow ribbon on your car...it would be more reflective of who you are.

No it's not OK.

The fact that human beings still resort to state sponsored violence in an age of mass media facilitating glbal dialouges is a telling sign that we as a species are still sadly immature...unable to resolve conflicts with our words.

The term playground-politics is sadly all to discriptive of the current state of affairs. As long as the global community sanctions violence than it will persist. Sadly in a system as complex as the whole of human society it is no simple task to get everyone to just calm down and start talking instead of building bombs.

In my mind, when anyone is killed in an act of violence it is never "ok".

Libs want to protect soldiers who are trained to kill.

but they don't care about 4000 defenseless babies killed under the guise of choice every day.
