I do not want to be insensitive. But from the media it seems Rev. Al tries to fight for equallity. But it seems he is just doing the opposite. Reversing the roles. With brining people down. Creating more rifts, and seprations between cultures. Now I am not saying Rev. Al is a bad person. I believe he is a good person. But don't you think better if he tried to cohabitate, and work with other cultures to make a difference? Any input be great. Thanks.

You can all say what you like on here. But please can we try not to slam Rev. Al, and Rev. Jesse. Is there anyway to make them change there perceptions? Any ideas. Please nothing disrespectfull. Thanks.

I think as the inheritor of Jesse Jackson's mantle as President of Black America that ol' Rev. Al has taken on some of Jesse's less savory practices. For instance, they both are experts at shaking down corporations by threatening boycotts, marches, etc. if the corp.s don't do what they're told; that is, do a little of this and a little of that and, oh, by the way, make a "contribution" to the organization of which I just happen to be the head. In Jackson's case that would be The Rainbow Coalition. I don't know what ol' Rev. Al calls his gang. Ol' Al is about as much a Reverend as I am. He's nothing more than a "colorful" shakedown artist that the press is happy to put on the screen from time-to-time 'cause he's good for ratings. I'd just love to see a list of his actual, meaningful accomplishments - I wonder if there are any at all. And if you ever see ol' Rev. Al, tell him Fast Eddie B says "How's Tawana Brawley doin', Rev.?" and then duck real quick 'cause I hear the boy has a mean left hook. That should REALLY make his day!

I have got a real bad taste in my mouth anymore for the likes of Rev. Al and Rev. Jesse and for their precious NAACP. I think of the naacp as the black communitys version of the kkk. We need to do away with both of these groups, all they do is breed hate. Wouldn't it have been wonderful to take this situation and everyone have learned from it by doing something with Imus' show rather than firing him and putting all of his employees out of work. Did cbs and msnbc not set new guidlines by firing someone for saying something so ridiculous and stupid??? If we fire every individual for saying something racist or stupid, the welfare lines would cross the Mexican boarder. Oh wait - they already do.

I refuse to call Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson a reverend because religious leaders aren't supposed to only look out for one race/type of people.....they can call themselves whatever they want, but they are as much Christian leaders as the KKK grand wizard is
and yes they seem to do more harm than good

He is a race baitingwhore. Both him and Jesse Jackson make their money be driving a wedge between the races. If they didn't keep the concept of racism alive and turn every comment into a racial one, how would they make their wealthy comfortable living?

sharpton is slime...all he cares about is him self and attacking white people. if he was an activist for equality then he would be a spokesman for bolth white and black people when in injustice was done to either side but he jumps on smething that has to do with black only. what i love was how he was "shocked" to learn someone owned his relative.......why dude no offense meant but OF COURSE someone owned him or you wouldn't be africa american....you would be an african immigrant
