I need some info regarding the type of boiler, size, make etc. I dont want to spend a fortune so ideally under £500 if this is possible. I have a 2 bed, mid terrace house which is of average size for its style. there are 7 radiators in the house.

What KW etc should I buy -I want to get a condensed boiler

thanks

£500 will buy you a central heating boiler i.e. a 'Ravenheat' or 'Ferroli' however, I guarantee that you will be changing it within 3 years. A central heating boiler is an investment, and, the more you spend the better quality you will get. I would recommend a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 25CDi or a Baxi 80HE, both are good quality pieces of equipment and will last for years, Worcester Bosch have recently won awards for their high efficiency (condensing) boilers.

Something in the region of 25kW will be ample for your needs, but I would urge you to reconsider how much you will spend, remember that the cost of the flue needs to be added to the price.

Hope this helps.

i do no longer understand what manufacturers the B and boilers are. My plumber swears by the Chaffataux Britony. I even have 2 in rented homes. for a mutually as they have been affordable yet solid fee for funds. I even have had one breakdown on one by fact that 2002 costing me around £25 for a alternative tension swap. the different one has been fautless for around 3 years now. Alternitively you need to choose for the hot valiants, Pottertons, Halsteads etc (Wickes do the Halstead ones under their very very own names). Baxis at the instant are not an themes so a techniques as i comprehend. i could sidestep Biasi and Gloworm. My plumber develop into tempted to purchase a load of inexpensive gloworms from his providers. He had no longer something yet hassle with them. The Biasi ones have been ok for residences nut no longer 3 mattress homes. it ought to no longer be a bad theory to get the type form of the baxi which you have been stated then telephone around the plumbers retailers and haggle for a value. you need to then use this to make certain how lots your plumbers are (over)charging you to have it presented and outfitted.
