With or with out Lincoln the N. states would of had a confrontation with the S. states. with or with out George we still would of had out confrontation with England and might have had even a better General than George who was not considered a good general but a lucky one and so it goes if not Gates some one else. When issues and ideas, who's time is due, will be brought forth by who evers on it. You talk about senseless murder, how about , Shock and Aw in Iraq and all the rest.
