The technology for the unfreezing is not perfected yet. They have what they think will work for quick freezing a person. Some people, so I hear have gone ahead with the freezing method in hopes that down the road sometime it will be possible to be unfrozen and cured of whatever ailed them and continue on with life.

Sorry, Austin Powers wannabe... but it isn't possible! We haven't developed a way to accomplish such a feat as of yet... while tissue can be cryogenically frozen and brought back to life, doing it to an entire body presents many problems. Not to say that it won't be possible in the future!

PS... some people are offering links to cryogenic service providers... note that these businesses only freeze people who are already deceased with hopes that they can be brought back to life at a later date.
