Of course you can put them in seperate rooms. It's probably better that way anyway, because if you get them used to sleeping in the same room, it will only be harder later. I think Child Services requires that children of different sexes, around age 3, have to be in different rooms anyway. It just depends on you. When they are smaller, you may want to keep them together, but remember, when they are sleeping, if one wakes up crying, so will the other. Seperate rooms may keep this from happening (atleast during the day). You may actually want them to wake up about the same time at night, so they don't keep you up all night at different times.

Good luck and congratulations.

I have twins, boy and girl (age 4 now), and they have ALWAYS been together. It has made them the best of friends. But there is nothing wrong with putting them in different rooms. It's whatever you feel is the best for your children. Good luck and God bless!

Why until they get around the age of 1-2 it would help you if they are in the same room running from room to room will make you tired and the baby's will sleep better for the first year if they are together.

only if you want to but at a young age its ok to share a room until they reach at least 3. they were in the same womb together so they did get use to each other splitting them up right after birth might might bother them in a way. About the age of three children notice a difference between them and the other sex.

It might be easier on you if they were in the same room for a little while. Seeing as how they are twins they have already been bonding with eachother inside you and they might feel more relaxed with the other one close by.

Your the mom you could do what ever you want however for a short period of time you may consider keeping the two close due to the fact that for the past 42 months they are joined together. allowing them some time to still be close allows for them to gain stability in a foreign world. separate them little by little. Good luck god bless you and the children.

Why would you ask if you can? If they are your children you can do whatever you want with them. I would think it would be better to keep them in the same room until they are a little alder though. If both babies are in one area i think it would be easier on the parents. But, eventually you would want them in their own room if you have the space! Congrats and good luck!

Wouldn't that be a little difficult in th emiddle of the night having to shuffle back and forth between the rooms when they are crying? I think if you start out like this, you will soon change your mind.

I don't see anything wrong with it though.

do fraternal twins run in your family? I think it usually runs in ur family or the cause of fertility help. But yes i think its fine having them in seperate rooms but personally i think i would rather keep them together till about age 2.
