Happened to me too ,when i first got it i read nothing about the machine just plugged it in and voila when it started blowing cold i then read the handbook lo and behold press red button on back of machine to reset stat ,happy days i now read leafelets that come with everything

Yepper, and did you know there is also a reset button under your garbage disposer to reset it when it gets jammed? I found that out after paying the plumber a few dozen times in my rental units and certainly they knew before they charged me the minimum hourly charge!
