If you're looking for something to add to an aquarium to raise pH, look in a pet/fish store in the gravel aisle. If the store caters to saltwater/cichlid fishkeepers, there will be a variety of crushed coral and aragonite (shell material) substrates in a variety of grain sizes. Also, cichlid sand (fine calcite grains) has the same chemical formula (CaCO3), but a different crystallization pattern. Both will do the same job, though.

you can buy oyster shells crushed for adding to the diet of laying hens to keep the shells on eggs thick enough at any farm store.
I have never seen bags of crushed clam shells but the oyster shells would be basicallly the same if you are using them as a food additive for birds
