Yes Heidi - they should. Another attempt at belittling motherhood. You should be ashamed.

Just because one goes out in the work force doesn't mean they think out solutions or stay informed. The stay at home mom (male or female) may use that time to educate themselves. The ability to think thru a problem is more important to voting responsibly than earning a salary!

When the economy was in the hunter/gather stage being an anarchist was fine. Today is more complex. The economics to create changes the world needs requires working together. Example Renewable Energy: Will most likely never be directly economically viable, because of the cost of its infrastructure. Yet it must happen. One has to be creative to change the economics. Find items the masses willingly pay a premium for to subsidize the cost of the infrastructure.

Generally, it's my understanding that stay at home women have little ones at home.

With this in mind, their opinions should be independent and strong since they do more to formulate the minds of those children than 10 working fathers.

My mom stayed at home, met with all our teachers, kept up with current events, helped with homework, took us to church--doctors appointments, etc. while dad worked. The best he did was attend the dance recitals, school plays and soccer games.

Until further notice women got the right to vote and should exercise that right. No working man can stop them -- so they'd better not try!

Are you saying that women who stay home with the children should not be able to vote? What generation are you from? The 17th century?

I am SO GLAD somebody has questioned my right to vote. I'm just here at home... cooking cleaning, driving the kids to sports practice, Scouts & lessons, helping with homework, attending teacher conferences, doing the bills, grocery shopping...

you are absolutely correct, why should I have a say in anything? Obviously my days are filled with mindless tasks, therefore I must be mindless as well and couldn't possibly have anything to contribute. Please, give my hardworking husband, who carries all the burden of his family, back all the decision making power.

thank you for putting us stay-at-home women in our place.

Yes, they are still citizens of this country and have the right to vote. I guess staying home to raise your children is no longer considered noble in our country.

Even as much as I disagree with both of them most of the time .......this is against community guidelines isn't it? Your avatar and the obvious attack of these women I am referring to!

They're Americans and deserve to express their personal opinion!

I guess you think you are pretty clever with your childish avatar and attempt to bash fine people who have high standards and aren't afraid to defend them. You have zero credibility. Your avatar and your dumb statements say more about you than those you are trying to belittle. Typical of your type: bankrupt of any sensible ideas, and can not see past your narrow-minded, hateful agenda, so you try to slam others who rise well above your pitiful mentality. Seriously, get a life.
