Goldfish are veggie eaters by nature. Plants. Feeding pellets enriched with vit.C or a color enhancer high in proteins and low in fats adding blood worms is good, however not all gold fish will eat bloodworms. Adding things like peas, lettuce, spinach squash etc are a great addition to your fish's diet. Also Oranges and watermellon pieces. This will give your fish the rounded diet they need to remain healthy. Flake food is also a good choice.
I have a number of ponds and raise goldies and Koi for show. Feeding them added green veggies a few times a week as well as the fruits.gives them their rounded out diet. Remember goldfish do not have stomaches and need to be fed 2-3 times per day. Don't worry this isn't overfeeding for a gold fish and no you canot overfeed a fish to the point of killing it. This is a requirement of goldfish which is why most people think they are "dirty" fish. Remember not to cut back on the amount of food for each feeding but increase the number of times fed. Not all pellets are created the same. Read the percentage of fats, fillers and proteins before feeding pellet food. Pond pellets are the best I have found. they contain a higher amount of proteins, very little fat and veggie additives.
Goldfish will also eat larve, brine shrimp and various eggs to get the proteins they need.
Good luck.

Goldfish will eat just about anything that fits in their mouths, but not all food is good for them. Either flakes or pellets are fine, but these should be something formulated FOR goldfish. A good percentage of their diet should be plant matter, so their food should contain algae or other greens. You can supplement this by adding romaine, spinach, squash, peas, etc. They would naturally eat insect larvae as well, so the bloodworms aren't a problem in moderation.
The key to healthy fish is to feed them a variety of foods, instead of just depending on one source. This will provide them with a better balance of nutrients. You can take a look through the links below for more information on feeding and nutrition for goldfish, including some homemade foods.

Goldfish eat basically all the food that you have mentioned. They prefer to have a stable diet so it is best not to change what you are feedig them too suddenly. Flakes are fine but if you want you can mix in a few pellets or bloodworms from time to time. I wouldn't worry if I were you because if they are happy with flakes now, they will be for ever

You can feed them flakes, pellets, & bloodworms. You may also want to included freeze dryed foods, froozen foods and live foods as well. However never feed them more that what they can eat in 3 minutes. Like humans a diet of different types of foods is best.

Blood worms arent always healthy for fish/amphibians because of their hard shell. The hard shell makes it more difficult for the fish to digest them. I always fed my goldfish tetra flakes. Pellets are ok too, the fish will just grow larger because the pellets are larger. You can also try feeding the fish flakes one day and pellets the next. Switching off will ensure the fish get a healthy diet.

Pellets!!! I got two a couple of weeks ago and I feed them pellets because it is cleaner. Flakes just sink to the bottom of the bowl and decay. With pellets give them two each a day, I give mine one in the morning, one after work and one at night time....Its amazing to think thats all they need but it really is.

A decent Goldfish flake mix is fine. You can mix in pellets and bloodworms if you like. Just make sure that you keep down the protein - they have a hard time digesting it.

Nice to see lots of serious answers.
You can feed fish pretty much anything.
Blood worms are good for them and they lap up the pellets too.

they make pellets that are specially sized for your small goldfish, bloodworms and dried shrimp pellets will also work well.
You can definately feed them goldfish pellets and the bloodworms with no danger.
Whey they get larger you can also start feeding them feeder guppys as well.Depending on what size tank you have, your goldfish can get up to 3 feet long easily.
I have several goldfish over a foot long now that are breeders,I feed them a commercial pelleted fishfood.
